The request every designer dreads, and it is almost never really about the logo.
When somebody asks for a bigger logo, what they’re usually saying is that they can’t see themselves in the design yet. The logo is just the only part they’ve got words for.
Worth remembering who the page is for, though. Your customers don’t turn up wondering who you are. They turn up wondering whether you can fix their problem. A bigger logo doesn’t answer that question. A headline that says what you do and who it’s for does.
Make the logo big enough to be recognised, then spend the rest of the space on the thing they actually came for. What should go on a homepage covers the rest of it.
