We rebranded for the reunion. I should say at this point that I hate Oasis.
When the reunion was announced, every brand on the internet had an Oasis moment. So we had ours properly and rebranded the entire agency for it.

Which is the honest bit about trend-jacking. It is fun, it takes an afternoon, and every now and again it does numbers. What it very rarely does is bring work in. People enjoy it, they scroll on, nothing happens.
The things that do bring work in are duller and slower than that. Turning up consistently. Saying something you actually believe rather than something that is trending. Showing the job you did for somebody who had the same problem as the person watching, which is what the whole of our work section is for.
Do the daft one because it is funny. Just do not file it under marketing.
