Prestige Dental are a leading supplier of specialist dental products and equipment established over 30 years ago. They supply exclusively to surgeries and laboratories throughout the UK. With years of experience, they’re highly regarded within the dental industry. They needed a new website to combine their specialist knowledge and high service standards.

Project Objectives

The new website needed to promote their brand and allow their customers to place orders online. Prestige Dental had an existing website, but they recognised they needed to improve the user experience.

Our Work

We designed and built a new website which would allow dentists and laboratories to browse products and order online. The design was based on existing brochures and styles that Prestige Dental were using to create a cohesive suite of marketing materials.

We built the website on WooCommerce and WordPress, giving them flexibility to grow. It would also mean the website could evolve for Prestige Dental’s future needs, lasting them for years to come. 

As dental supply sales are restricted to members of the General Dental Council, we built functionality that allowed the Prestige Dental team to moderate user accounts before they were able to place orders making sure that they remained compliant.

The new website houses thousands of items of all different shapes and sizes. Complex variations, sizes and prices are all managed by WooCommerce. Customers can create an account or login and place their orders online. The new products catalogue is easy to browse with defined categories, brands and a search function.

Getting thousands of products into their new store, required us to design and develop a method of importing products from Excel spreadsheets into a WooCommerce compliant format.

We integrated payment gateways including Stripe and PayPal. This enables customers to choose their preferred payment method for their order.

The new website has fulfilled Prestige Dental’s requirements and much more. It’s easy to navigate, informative and an essential asset for their sales and marketing. They recognised the need to update their existing website, and we delivered an effective ecommerce solution.
